ENDER 3V3 SE/KE CoPrint KCM Install Guide

Printing

There is a process for printing with this kit.
When the chromahead cycles through colors, it changes the printing process slightly.

The chromahead extruder is loaded via the SET_FILAMENT_POSITION macro using the extrude button. You manually insert the filament into the CX-1 extruder and then use the macro to load the plastic at least 10mm away from it. If you want to load the first color through the chromahead while loading up plastics, Select the identified CX-1 extruder with the macro and extrude the filament.

When the printer changes color, the printer cuts the last color, retracts it, and extrudes at least 175mm of plastic to purge the last color and continue printing.

When a print finishes, the chromahead parks, cutting the recent filament, and retracting the recent filament to prepare for the next print.

When you cancel a multi-color print, you must use the SET_FILAMENT_POSITION macro. This ensures that if you start another print the previous color type does not interfere. I'm working on updating the macro to fix this.

As for slicing and printing:

Luckily, CoPrint documented the orcaslice setup that you can follow to finish this step: Link
